Studies show that inadequate sleep affects hormones associated with mood and appetite and correlates with weight gain. If possible get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep at night. Avoid caffine and stimulating activity late in the day.
Everyone likes to indulge in a special treat once in a while. Slim people do so and still maintain a healthy weight. You can train yourself to think this way, but it requires conscious effort in the beginning. The first step is to eat mindfully, being aware of what you put into your shopping basket, on your plate and in your mouth.
